If you come to Costa Rica for a surfing vacation, chances are that you've heard about Witch's Rock. As one of the most recognized surf breaks in the world, images of the picturesque waves breaking infront of the iconic boulder in the middle of the sea scatter thousands of surfing publications. Located in the Santa Rosa National Park, it is possible to drive there, but it is a long and arduous drive followed by a half an hour hike. Surfers generally get there by boat (we will charter one for you).
Witch's Rock surfing features very strong offshore winds from December to March. Surfers will love the fast, hollow, long rights, and lefts at incoming high tide during Witch's Rock surfing.
