The Surf Bus

The Surf Bus is your cool ride to the North Shore of Costa Rica. Do your own thing: Surf, SUP (Stand up paddle) Snorkle, Swim, Explore, or just watch the surfers while they play on the waves. The Surf Bus takes guests from Tamarindo to a different beach each day and will provide all the equipment for your usage.

Cost:
$15 (transportation only)
$25 (transportation + equipment rentals)

Equipment Rentals Include: Snorkels, fins, Surf Boards, boogie board Stand Up Paddle Boards, beach balls, frisbees and coolers).

Bring: A Beach Towel, plenty of Sunblock, A Swimsuit, comfy shoes, Water (for Sale at the Waves CR Surf Shop).

Destinations:

Playa Grande: A Surfer's Paradise, Playa Grande is a National Marine Park for the Leather Back Turtle (the biggest species of sea turtles in the world). It's a beautiful white sand beach with perfect "A frame waves". It is definitly a "MUST SURF".

Playa Avellanas: A pristine white sand beach, playa avellanas is impresively beautiful. The beach is great for non surfers and surfers alike! It hosts the world-famous LOLAS bar which is a magical, hidden bar infront of the beach with a great ambiance. We definitely recommend this beach!

Danta y Dantita: The Perfect secret spot beach, with no waves, it is a perfect beach for snorkeling or SUP and hiking. It is also romantically secluded… We're sure you've never seen a beach quite as beutiful as this ones.

Playa Conchal: Translated as "shell beach", the sand of this beach is made out of small broken shells, making for an abnormally clear water, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The beach is definetly worth checking out.

Playa Flamingo: Playa Flamingo is the fanciest of all of the beaches in the area. Nestled in an elegant and quaint town, you will feel like you're in the middle of the Italy.
