Waves CR... wow. What an amazing, unforgettable experience. So spiritually rejuvenating. I hope to bring my brothers back with me next year for the adventure all over again. I've never been so sore in my life--I got an intense workout every day--and could barely get out of bed in the morning--it felt GREAT! Surfing with crocs, yoga in the hill top, delicious dinners, cold beers, jungle water falls, a massage on the deck and beautiful sunsets--absolutely amazing. It was such a gift to be welcomed by the CR team and given a little glimpse of how beautiful the people and country really are. "Waves Costa Rica Surf Adventures went beyond even my wildest expectations. I had a near perfect week of surfing, yoga in the jungle, canopy zip lines, waterfalls and beach tours. I've never been so physically exhausted and felt so great. The staff is amazing and everyone was so relaxed and accomodating. I was worried about booking a "package" vacation but it didn't feel like that at all. It felt like hanging out with friends. From Edwin picking me up at the airport to Andrea, Mitzam, Gaby and Nino - not only were they super supportive about my surfing but they made everything so easy. I never had to worry about anything. And they took me to some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen that I never would have found on my own. I wanted to tell all my friends about a great experience. So I'm sending you this email. I spent the last week learning to surf in Costa Rica. What a great experience.

Costa Rica is beautiful country. Probably the most beautiful place I've ever visited. But what left the greatest impression was the people. I found the people in Costa Rica without exception friendly, helpful, genuine and ever smiling. By the way, the women there are smoking good looking. And the surfing in Costa Rica is outstanding.

While in Costa Rica I went to Waves Surf Camp. You can visit them at Wavescr.com to learn more. Waves is run by three amigos - Andrea Diaz, Gilbert Brown, and Nino Myrie. They all rip and are three of the best surfers and Costa Rica. They all have the championships to prove it.
Most of all they are very nice people. Nino Myrie was my teacher at Waves and had me riding waves from the very first day. "Yeah mon, surfing pretty good." How cool is that!?!?
I learned so much and had so much fun. Thanks Nino.

Nino is only 20 but was recently featured in Surfing Magazine as one of the up and coming young guys in the sport. With his talent, looks, natural athletic ability and great attitude - Nino is going place in the surfing world. No doubt about it!
