Booking Information

Waves Costa Rica Surf Adventures often sell out in advance, so it is advisable to make your reservations as early as possible. Please confirm availability before purchasing your flight. Prices do not include airfare. A deposit of $200 is required to hold your reservation. Full payment must be done upon arrival. After payment is received, you will receive Itinerary for your stay.

Travel and Flight Information

Please book your flights to arrive on the first posted adventure date and to depart on the last posted adventure date to and from San Jose (applied for those taking the 5 day 5 night Waves Costa Rica Surf Adventure, not the 3 day 2 night surf adventure). Final booking of your flight is not necessary before registration. Arrangements for taxi to/from San Jose are complimentary(if not taking the Banana or Coco package) You must bring your valid passport to enter Costa Rica and return. All guests are responsible for proof of citizenship documents. Note: Your ID must have at least six months remaining before expiration to be valid. Minors require special written documentation to leave the country..

Room & Payment Information

You will find one or two double beds and a single or bunk beds and a kitchenette in most surf villas. Every surf villa has a bathroom & a spacious kitchenette, A/C and color TV.

Cancellation Policy

At Waves Costa Rica Surf Adventures, we are so committed to providing you with an extraordinary experience that we guarantee the quality of our service. We value the relationship we have with each guest and want it to be mutually rewarding and last a lifetime.

Below are the guidelines if you must cancel your adventure:

We do not offer cash refunds. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving an adventure early. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be applied to another adventure within one year.

Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies. Waves Costa Rica Surf Adventures strongly recommends purchasing Travel Protection Insurance through your travel agent. If Waves Costa Rica Surf Adventures must cancel an adventure, all payments received to date will be refunded, which constitutes full settlement. You may reschedule, with no penalty, to go on another Waves Costa Rica Surf Adventure within one calendar year from the date of payment. Waves Costa Rica Surf Adventures is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled trips, such as airline tickets, or for costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellation or illness.

Guests who fail to provide personal information and signed, forms prior to their adventure will not be allowed to participate in the activities. Furthermore, the above cancellation policy will apply.
